Vanessa is a Victorian based graphic designer and illustrator who specialises in crafting beautiful books.
Her entry into publishing began shortly after University where she designed an array of magazines for Hardie Grant Media. She then veered off to explore design within the realms of advertising, fashion and boutique studios before long-form print lured her back in.
Once she had in-house experience at Quadrille Publishing (London) and Hardie Grant Books (Melbourne), she ventured out on her own as a book designer and in 2020, was shortlisted for the Australian Book Designers Association’s Emerging Designer of the Year Award.
Vanessa is presently seeking opportunities to create for titles within architecture, interiors and the creative arts and is ever drawn towards wellness, lifestyle and food. She is always keeping an ear out for exciting in-house positions and opportunities to collaborate with other creatives.
When she isn’t perusing her local bookshop, you’ll find Vanessa exploring the landscapes and textures of Victoria’s Surf Coast.
